A capsule has been laid for a phosphate fertilizer plant in the Turkestan region, which will employ 1,000 people

The project is being implemented in partnership between Souths-Oil and China Tianchen Engineering Corporation LTD. The ceremony was attended by the companies’ CEOs, Serikzhan Seitzhanov and Liang Junxiang.

The planned investment volume is approximately 140 billion tenge, and the number of jobs created is approximately 1,000. The project will strictly adhere to environmental standards and utilize modern technologies for processing phosphorus residues, producing fertilizers, and deep processing them.

The project’s expected capacity is 1 million tons of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers and 600,000 tons of phosphate nitrate per year. Commissioning is scheduled for 2027. In addition to the domestic market, the products will be exported to India, China, and neighboring countries.
