The ceremony to lay the capsule at the construction site was attended by the regional akim, N. Kusherov.

“The head of state,” he said, “instructed us to diversify the economy and develop manufacturing. Active work in this direction is underway in the region. Today, we are launching a project that is important for the region and the district. The plant will produce raw materials for the production of fertilizers needed by agriculture. The launch of the facility will reduce dependence on imported phosphate-based fertilizers. The fertilizers and chemicals produced here will have a positive impact on stabilizing food prices in the country. Investments in the project will certainly pay off and have a multiplier effect on the economy of the district and the region. The regional administration will provide infrastructure support.”

The project is being implemented in partnership between South Oil and China Tianchen Engineering Corporation LTD. The company’s CEOs, S. Seitzhanov and Liang Junxiang, attended the construction launch ceremony.

The planned investment volume is approximately 140 billion tenge, with approximately 1,000 jobs created. The project will strictly adhere to environmental standards and utilize modern technologies. The plant’s design capacity is 1 million tons of nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium fertilizers and 600,000 tons of phosphate nitrate per year. Commissioning is scheduled for 2027. In addition to the domestic market, products will be exported to India and China.
