PLAMEN PAVLOV

Plamen Pavlov is an experienced entrepreneur and industry expert with many years of international experience in the energy and finance sectors. As Chairman of the Bulgarian Gas Association and as the managing owner of BULGASNET LTD, he plays a key role in shaping the development of the natural gas market in South-Eastern Europe.

Thanks to his extensive expertise in the implementation of energy and infrastructure projects, as well as in international trade and investment, he possesses in-depth knowledge of strategic business management and corporate governance. In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, he is involved in various business organisations, including as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and as Chairman of the Bulgarian-Macedonian Chamber of Commerce.

His international experience is complemented by numerous board mandates across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. Plamen Pavlov holds a Master’s degree in Economics, specialising in Banking and Financial Management, as well as a PhD, which underscores his strategic and interdisciplinary expertise
